Amy Winehouse to retire?
British pop singer Amy Winehouse has told Rolling Stone magazine she's considering retiring in order to devote herself to being a good wife and mother.
Winehouse, who recently wed on-off boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil in Miami while in town for a RS photo shoot, said she wants to settle down after recording two albums.
"I've done a record I'm really proud of and that's about it," Winehouse said. "I don't want to be ungrateful. I know I'm talented, but I wasn't put here to sing. I was put here to be a wife and a mum and to look after my family."

Lily Allen: I'm an alcoholic
Lily Allen has revealed constant touring has driven her to alcoholism.
The "Smile" singer, who's heading our way in August for the Splendour In The Grass festival, hopes to put an end to a recent spate of trouble that saw her cancel shows and fight publicly with Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Tweedy.
"I'm an alcoholic now," Allen revealed in an online blog posting. "It's not good and that's why I want to get back into the studio.
"I've actually pulled myself aside... it will kill me if I keep it up. I've got to stop abusing myself because, as far as I'm concerned, every loon hates me now."
Allen's first Australian show is in Fremantle on Tuesday July 31.

Paris Hilton: in jail, sued and dumped by label
Life isn't too rosy for troubled US socialite Paris Hilton. Having entered California's Century Regional Detention Facility to serve her sentence for a parole violation, the blonde heiress has also suffered the indignity of being dumped by her record label.
According to Hollywood.com, Warners are "not expecting any new Paris Hilton material in the foreseeable future" and won't be working with the singer again (despite spending AU$300,000 on a music video and album promotion).
Meanwhile, record label The Sparta Florida Music Group are suing Hilton's songwriter/producer for $498,000 in damages. The label claim UB40's "Kingston Town" featured prominently in Hilton's debut single.
