Is Pete Doherty a sex addict?
[source: NME.com] Just when it seemed Pete Doherty had his hands full beating his drug vices – a court told him last week he must attend a detox clinic ahead of his next appearance – the tabloids have found him a new addiction.
According to the excitable end of the red tops, the Babyshambles frontman is also a sex addict. The Star claim Doherty is apparently "a serial cheat who cannot resist a romp".
Following reports he split from girlfriend Kate Moss after claims he cheated on her with a South African model, the paper believes it has managed to get yet another of Doherty's alleged conquests out of the woodwork.
In this kiss and tell, an Italian rock fan claims to have been picked out of the crowd by the singer during a gig in Rimini.
"Pete made it clear he wanted sex," the fan claimed, though she admitted the tryst did test her conscience. "I did feel a bit guilty about Kate but Pete was acting like she never existed."

Clash guitarist plays Wormwood Scrubs prison
[source: NME.com] Former Clash guitarist Mick Jones performed "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" on Friday July 6 in Wormwood Scrubs prison in west London.
Jones and Billy Bragg were visiting the jail to hand over five guitars to in-mates as part of Bragg's Jail Guitar Doors campaign, which encourages prisoners to take up music.
"Shall we see if this guitar works?" Jones asked, before performing the song to inmates.
"Music is a way to get away from things, a way of expressing yourself," he said afterwards. "And if you'll excuse the pun, it's a great way to escape."
Bragg and Jones's initiative aims to reduce re-offending among prisoners by offering them an outlet through music.
"It's not going to work for everybody," Bragg said. "But there are people who find redemption through music."

Foxy Brown missing?
After allegedly being attacked by three women a fortnight ago, US rapper Foxy Brown has, according to her lawyer, gone missing.
On Saturday June 23, Foxy was allegedly attacked by friends of her former boyfriend, Timothy Collier. Foxy's lawyer, State Sen. Jack Sampson, says the rapper had her weave pulled out and her hearing aid smashed.
The singer was last seen boarding a flight to London at New York City's JFK airport on Friday June 29, where she held up the plane for more than an hour while boarding her entourage.
"The flight attendants said it was some of the most atrocious behaviour they ever saw," a passenger told the New York Post.
"We're all trying to find Foxy," Sampson now says. "She's probably getting some much needed rest. She's been given authorisation to travel and she could be working on her album. She is trying to get her album done. Depending on whom she's working with, she could be anywhere."

Despite being offered substantial amounts of money to play together again, Marr says he's never entertained the idea, despite now getting on well with former bandmate and frontman Morrissey.
"I still hang out with Morrissey from time to time and we talk about many things, but that subject never comes up," Marr has revealed. "There'd be no good reason to discuss it now. All our lives have moved on – in positive and interesting ways, I'd like to think."
The Smiths famously split back in 1987 after Marr and Morrissey fell out.
