Exciting times for Evanescence
Evanescence singer Amy Lee says the Grammy-nominated outfit are "a lot healthier" following the departures of drummer Rocky Gray and guitarist John LeCompt earlier this year.
Back in May, LeCompt posted a blog on his MySpace page, stating he'd been fired by Lee and then given a gag order by the group's management. Gray also wrote about being "forced" to leave the band.
Evanescence are currently preparing for a headline slot alongside Korn on the upcoming Family Values tour in the US.
"I think when you're onstage and you're in a rock band playing in front of 10,000 people, you should be having fun," Lee said. "[New members] Troy and Will are both very passionate and creative. It's given the show the ability to grow and evolve. We're changing things more often now and getting more creative with the set. It's really given the band the kick-start it needed."

Pavarotti fighting cancer "like a lion"
Opera star Luciano Pavarotti is battling his pancreatic cancer "like a lion", according to his wife, Nicoletta Mantovani.
The 71-year-old tenor recently went under the knife to rumour a tumour and is recovering on the Italian resort island of Ischia.
"I can now say he is doing well," Mantovani said in a chat with an Italian newspaper. "He's reacting well to a fifth cycle of radiotherapy. He's fighting like a lion and he has never lost his heart, also because a family he adores is by his side. He's determined and results are encouraging. Despite the heavy treatment he has not lost weight – which, by the way, he would have liked – or his hair."
Pavarotti's wife said the singer was also considering resuming his annual Pavarotti And Friends benefit concert.
