Bloc Party lung collapse

Bloc Party were forced to cancel a US tour after drummer Matt Tong suffered a collapsed lung.
The UK act had just finished recording A Weekend In The City, the follow-up to 2005's debut smash Silent Alarm, and were looking forward to joining Panic At The Disco! on the road.
"Doctors have advised [Matt] not to travel or play again for another few weeks, in order to give his lung time to properly heal," a press release issued by the band read.
"We would like to apologise to all our fans who won't be able to see us on this tour," singer Kele Okereke said. "Matt's health is our number one priority right now."
A Weekend In The City will be released in Australia in early February.

Snoop creates pet products
Need some shampoo for your shih tzu? Look no further than the new line of dog toys and apparel from US rapper (and occasional porn director) Snoop Dogg.
Dogg is lending his name to the canine venture, which will be sold online from November 21 on Amazon.com, before heading into US stores in early 2007.
Created by JPI Pets, the range includes dog bones, footballs, boom boxes, hooded sweatshirts, basketball jerseys and headphones. Some items even contain sound snippets of classic Snoop phrases.
"Go get some quick, dogg-gone-it," Snoop said, "because Snoop Dogg said so. Bow wow!"
Snoop's latest LP, The Blue Carpet Treatment, will also be released on November 21.

Pink lashes out at Beyoncé
After calling Beyoncé Knowles a b*tch in a recent interview, outspoken singer Pink has had another pop at the former Destiny's Child star.
"I only hope she gets bit on the ass by whatever animal she wears," Pink said.
Pink, who's on her way to Australia next April with her I'm Not Dead tour, objects strongly to Knowles's habit of wearing fur coats.
"Some of the practices are so cruel," Pink argued, "and as a celebrity you have a responsibility to think about the message you're sending out by wearing fur. People will think it's okay or cool, but it's not."

Madonna adoption saga continues

Malawian lawyer Justin Dzonzi said his country's laws prevent international adoption, and yet more than 1000 Malawian children find new homes overseas each year.
Dzonzi, chairman of the Human Rights Consultative Committee, spoke to journalists yesterday following a sitting of the Malawi High Court, which is investigating the recent adoption by pop icon Madonna.
"There is no system to monitor how these adopted children are being treated, wherever they are," he said. "We want to use the Madonna case to make sure the rights of children in Malawi are effectively protected."
Meanwhile, Yohane Banda, father of Madonna's new son, insisted activists should leave his son alone.
"As David's father, I consented. I see no reason why I should change my mind now," he said.

Panic At The Disco! unveil new LP plans
Panic At The Disco! frontman Brendon Urie has told fans to "expect the unexpected" from the group's second album.
The Las Vegas four-piece plan to begin recording in January and will hope the second album can reach the same dizzying heights of its predecessor. Debut album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out has sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide.
"The next album is going to be stuff we've never tried before," Urie says. "That's the stuff that interests us in our music, exploring new instruments we've never tried and new sounds that are appealing to us. You'll find a lot of stuff you'd never expect. We hope to please and we're gonna spend a lot of time on it."

According to reports in UK tabloid News Of The World, Kevin Federline is considering releasing a home sex video featuring his estranged wife, Britney Spears.
